I could interview a girl who had an abortion in high school.
I expect to show the affects it has had on her,
her reasoning behind her decision,
whether or not she regrets it,
her knowledge of sex at the time,
whether or not the father of the child had any say,
how she copes,
her relationship with the child’s father,
information on teen pregnancy,
abortion,
adoption,
and teen parenting.
Teenagers, young adults, and people of all ages can be drawn to this as well as anyone who has had an abortion, thought about it, or knows someone who has.
This is an interesting subject to address from her perspective. Just remember that although you want to accomplish all these things in the profile what happens in the interview will dictate that. Be prepared to negotiate your plan. Also, remeber you are telling her story not any one elses and not every opinion on abortion.
